    I've supported both physical and digital retail brands in increasing customer engagement and driving growth. A key project was my role at HugglePets, where I became interim Head of marketing, supporting and mentoring apprentices and advising on the strategic marketing vision for the business.

    I have also supported small independent companies in developing their communications and brands, including Swinford Graphics, Purple Carrot Recruitment, Martialpreneur and Academy of Chocolate. 

  • Financial Services

    From rebranding to marketing strategy execution, I've been instrumental in leading marketing initiatives within financial services. I led the full rebranding of Dudley Building Society.

    As Head of Marketing Communications for The Stafford Building Society, I provided complete marketing support, ensuring their digital and print strategies aligned with business growth objectives.

    I also developed the entire marketing structure, including processes, budgets, and branding, all within strict financial compliance guidelines. 

  • Technology & Startups

    Working as the Marketing & Communications Manager at tech startup Samsung Food (formally Whisk.com), I helped increase user retention threefold and secured significant media coverage.

    My role also involved launching B2B platforms like WhiskAds, driving significant business growth. This experience sharpened my ability to adapt marketing strategies in fast-paced, innovative environments quickly.

    To this day, I credit the team at Samsung Food/Whisk.com for helping me learn the framework for being a successful independent business owner.

  • Arts & Culture

    At the Midlands Arts Centre, I was part of the initial team brought on board to market the relaunch after a £10.1 million refurbishment, creating a strategy that revitalised the centre’s brand. I spearheaded the music and cinema section while supporting the business's commercial arm with corporate events.

    I also worked on events and content strategy for Town Hall & Symphony Hall Birmingham, known as  B:Music, enhancing their audience engagement and successfully launching their Comedy Genre, and have worked for The Rep, Birmingham as a freelance marketer.

    I began my career in the arts at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

  • Food, Drink & Hospitality

    As the founder of Chatting Food Magazine, I’ve built an online platform that celebrates food and drink culture. I’ve worked with brands across the food industry, helping them connect with their audience through authentic content, PR, and event management.

    My creativity shines in this industry, combining my passion for food with compelling brand storytelling. I have interviewed numerous chefs, created a UK-recognised food and drink brand, and supported new and upcoming writers in developing their skills and building their brands. 

    Outside the magazine, I have worked alongside various independent chefs on their personal brands and pop-up events.

    I was the Digital Editor for Tesco’s first well-being store in St Helier, Jersey, called Balance. I helped launch their digital presence, including social media channels and website content. This experience gave me valuable insights into the health and wellness industry, where consumer trust and engagement are paramount.

  • Non-Profit Board Roles

    I’m a Board Member for HugglePets in the Community, which involves supporting community-driven initiatives and marketing for nonprofit projects. This experience has given me deep insight into the unique marketing needs of the nonprofit sector, especially in securing funding and promoting community engagement.

    I am always keen to here of non-profits and charities who are looking for board representation in marketing.
